- Biology is half the paper. If your time is constrained, it is not a subject to balance equally — it is the subject.
- The NMC periodically rationalises the syllabus, adding and removing chapters. Check the current official syllabus PDF each cycle rather than trusting a coaching list.
- Physics is the section most candidates run out of time in, despite being a quarter of the paper. Budget practice accordingly.
- Inorganic Chemistry is close to pure NCERT recall — the cheapest marks in the paper.
